Welcome to Emma Jane Personal Training.
I'm an experienced personal trainer based on the Hampshire Berkshire borders.
I look after a range of clients, each of which have different goals and motvations, from adding muscle tone, losing weight, to improving personal bests.
How do you make sure it matches my needs?
The initial consultation will go through yoiur overall goals, your exercise to date, and any particular issues you want to discuss. I'll also take your measurements, including diameters, and skin caliper readings. We'll also cover diet and nutrition at this stage.
What kind of training will I be doing?
This depends a lot on what your goal is. We may focus on cardio work, outdoor running, on the treadmill, cross trainer or turbo trainer, or it may be core strength work, or strength training with weights. The likelihood is that it will encompass a mix of these elements.
Will it hurt?!
You shouldn't look at a fitness programe as something which will cause you pain. What is likely is that the workout with me will be of a higher sustained intensity than you might put yourself thorugh in a gym, which is only natural. So, it won't 'hurt', but you'll know you've exercised!
How many sessions do i need?
Again, this depends on your goals. Some clients want a specific programme with a time limit (wedding!), others want continual develepment once or twice a week.
